I was on stage with him once playing mouth harp at Cold Springs Tavern on San Marcos pass in CA. He was staying at a friend's house and trying to sober up and would drop in every once in a while to play and get tuned up.
He got drunk and I was worse.
I could have died driving down that hill home. As it was, I creased the side of my better half's car to the tune of $2k.
