eMule-NG is clearly a scam - an effort to lure eMule users to sign up for a 'free' trial period on Usenext, only to find out that they are charged anyway and get no answers to their complaints from Usenext's customer service.
While Usenext is a rogue company, there are a number of subscription news servers that are ok. For comparision and user comments, see
