can't imagine how long it would take our porky pro to rip three million 2-sided analog recordings. gotta figure prepping, cleaning, testing...wax, tin, laquer, acetate, bakelite, polystyrene, polyvinyl etc, each with its own preemphasis curves, eq's, needles and speeds. all the while you're adding 30,000 more each year.



take a lifetime i guess. or several.

when you're done your 300,000 waiting cds will seem like a vacation. but damn i want that archive. look at the smile on his face. he's in total tune heaven.

someday the big audio collections like itunes, xm-sirius, amazons will get leaked. soon as they fit on one disc (<1/4 petabyte) the cloning will explode. day it happens i'm popping the champagne and going on a bender.
