The bigger the # the greater the number of sources. However they aren't incredibly accurate much of the time because Overnet is serverless. Sometimes there aren't even any availability numbers. I guess if you want a song badly you could try dl'ing all the different hashes of the same song.
btw You get alot more sources using eDonkey itself or the open source version eMule or eMule Plus.
