Oh, she'll be interviewed by the press, there's no doubt about that. You'll just have to wait a little while. Nobody gets elected without kissing up to the TV personalities.
Anyway, she's running for president of the senate, not president of the US. People understand that she has no voice in policy making, except for the occasional tie breaker, so they're not going to be particularly worried about either her or Biden's more extreme opinions. They only get to debate each other once and most people won't care enough to watch.
Why is Palin getting so much attention? Could it be the possibility of a woman vice president running against Hilary in four or eight years? I think there's something to that.
