Hey rushwhq,
I can't connect to you with Waste, though I can ping your machine. Not sure if this means you haven't added my public key?
(see above)
Though, as I haven't successfull managed a connection to *anybody* via waste yet, we can't rule out configuration SNAFU at my end. Incidentally, today I reinstalled Waste (reverting to 1.0b), trawled the list for IPs that responded to ping (including you rushwhq), added the corresponding public keys and Voila!
...nothing.
I did however manage to nab a (1) file with Shareaza before my router started dropping out every 90 seconds or so... perhaps I have hardware issues?
Oh well, starting Tuesday I am attempting to bust the ISDN(128k) -> dialup(56k) -> ADSL(1500/256k) move, which I am advised will take 8-10 days (
), after which I will have a static IP. Maybe some magic will take place during the shift that sorts everything out?
We live in hope.
