Biometric authorization is way overhyped. Used alone, it is very easy to spoof. The most common implementation, a fingerprint scanner, can be attacked by anyone who can lift your finger print, and has even a modestly stocked kitchen. At least with a good password and a secure crypto scheme you can refuse to give out the password (you'll be in jail for contrmpt of court, but oh well); OTOH the cops will already have your fingerprints.
But retinal scanners sure look sexy in the movies!
