Copyright and Globalization in the Age of Computer Networks. It's the transcript of a speech that Stallman gave on the subject, but it's much broader and also criticises "free-trade agreements" and other such corporate shenanigans. It's excellent!
There are some links to similar articles (by many different authors) in the

Lawrence Lessig and others have nominated Stallman to chair the U.S. patent and copyright office in the past, yet instead he continues with GNU/Emacs. I wonder why?
