To Stoepsel:

I have these handy tools (see pic), register and unregister dll in the send to folder.

They were provided by the programmer that created DllAide, to help me to register a rebel dll while updating the MDAC library, came all the way up from New Zealand, and work like a charm.

I also have a tool for registering OCXs somewhere.

Also used to go the command line route, but since installing GoBack is much easier and secure just rolling back.

Anyone reading this post should copy and paste your posts for future reference, since your advice also apply to similar situations.
