for adding an avatar.. click on Profile (top left of the forum) > Edit Options > scroll down and click on Change Avatar > Custom avatars, browse for the file you want > Submit.
for posting a screenshot, see what JS said. to take it, press the 'print screen' button on your keyboard. go to mspaint, paste and save as .jpg.
for hyperlinks, the http button makes it easy so you dont have to type in the code manually. more on the
