that site kind of defines ”minimalist” doesn’t it? ok, the service gives you half the maximum d/l speed of residential adsl but twice the upload speed. the slower d/l is not necessarily an issue since most downloads from home users (i.e. peer-to-peer hosts) are much slower anyway so you won't notice the difference if that's your main activity. you will notice the faster upload speeds every time you send out a file, whether email, mp3 or whatever so that’s good. the 128kbs u/l limiter with most dsl/cable services is a major bottleneck.

i'd give these guys a shot if (and only if) they score high on customer service. you will not believe the difference decent customer service can make in your new high-bandwidth universe. without it you can go crazy fast. bad crazy.
