hey, sealand!

it always used to be something heard at least twenty times a day when napster first had legal troubles - 'well, they could always move to sealand.. or someone could set up an opennap server there'.

for some reason, no opennap server or other p2p ever did set up shop there (i think it was possibly the high cost of using havenco's servers, combined with restrictively low bandwidth). however, as far as i know, the legal advantages of sealand weren't disproved at any point - although with decentralised networks ten-a-penny these days, the only really good reason i can think of for a sealand p2p would be to establish an audiogalaxy workalike.
