even I know that with Cable and ADSL your download speed is not affected by your upload speed....whoemever wrote the article (original article) for TechTv was a complete and
utter moron..
besides that i've found ways to actually
increase your download/uploads speeds (for dialup users only) using the KazAA file sharing 'service'
