heres a concern of mine:
its about time for them to make altnet mandatory like the call for the cd_clint.dll is now hardcoded into the executable so too will altnet (if its not already in there and just not obvious)
i strongly suspect that once the subscription model gets going we won't be able to connect to the network like before. i'm looking to alternatives but currently there aren't any that meet my standards (fasttrack has set the standard i believe in gnutella...its based on gnutella and they did it right by limiting search results and using supernodes if Xolox did the same thing they would have less network congestion (bottlenecks)
