I've always found these newsgroups and IRC (especially IRC) to be very confusing....can anyone here write a tutorial that explains how these work....how do any of you personal use them?
how do i get on them sucessfully and get what i want (namely movies and software)
And does anyone know if these irc groups are
friendly for dial-up users or this something mostly reserved for broadband users like the "donkey" and "direct connect"
I am looking for tips here on sucessfully finding and getting files off of both the newsgroups and irc...can anyone please explain this to me (dummy version preferably)
