some people running webpages use banner/popup ads to get the money for financing their traffic and storage.
my intuitive approach is, that this model will not work, if all visitors use banner/popup killers.
since i use the info from this sites, i am willing to spend a certain amount of my bandwidth for loading the ads, if i not actually have to watch the contents.
therefor i am looking for some roboter:
- to which i can give specific urls to load
- which i can specify a certain amount of bandwidth to use
- which doesn't any more then loading this pages in a random "human like" manner, but just discards the data
- which best is open source
do you know such a proggie?
