Indiana's idea is good--but you could use AudioGrabber, for instance, and forgo the conversion to mp3 process to save a lot of time. AudioGrabber grabs the wavs in a twinkling, (conversion takes longer) and both gives you a 'Copied OK, Checksum:' message and counts 'possible speed problems.' (I sometimes rack up some 'speed problems' when there is nothing apparently wrong with the CD, but the 'Copied OK' output seems a very reliable indicator of physical flaws.)
