uCshares: Anybody heard of it?
 

Hi all,

I was wondering, if any of you cosmopolitan file shares have heard of a file sharing application called uCshares (www.ucshares.com). napho perhaps?

It sounds to me like a hacking-for-dummies tool that exploits security holes in Windows OSes and I'd be glad for any further information you might have on this.

Someone apparently connected to uCshares is trying to plug this tool on FastTrack Central. Anyone want to participate in the discussion?

There used to be a program that randomly searched ip's for computers that unknowingly shared their entire hard drive. I posted about it here a couple years ago but can't remember the name. This could be a similar thing.

I got the full version of uCshares and I must say it does everything they say it does. I have found millions of shared files in the last few days!
