What's really going on when that happens?

that happens to me sometimes, where the amount uploaded is more than the size of the file being uploaded......although never to that extent.....what's going on? just an error with the status information, or is more information actually being uploaded? and if there is more being uploaded, then what is being uploaded?

it's an accounting error compounded by multi-sourcing. the program is basically over counting. it's been around since the begining of ft. nothing to worry about, no extra info is being transferred.
