Avatars and Hyperlinks
 

I coulda sworn I'd seen a sort of tutorial somewhere on this board which outlined procedures for adding an avatar to one's name. And also, did not someone once post a 'how to' on using <here> underscored in place of a url? Then again, when in trouble (I wish never again, but we have MS to contend with) it would be nice if I knew how to post a screenshot. Three pieces (of thousands) of knowledge that I know I lack, and would like to acquire. Can anybody help, please?

Whats the url for this p2p app that lets you share Sig's and screen-shots?

Is there lots of users? Yeah I agree. M$ is a big hinder to file sharing.

Is this app leech friendly when it comes to not sharing hyperlinks but downloading them?

ok, i'll do last first. screenshot - the easy way:

when done writing post scroll to "Attach file" and click "Choose". find jpg (or bitmap etc) smaller than 80k and "Open". click "Submit Reply". picture will appear in post.

for adding an avatar.. click on Profile (top left of the forum) > Edit Options > scroll down and click on Change Avatar > Custom avatars, browse for the file you want > Submit.

for posting a screenshot, see what JS said. to take it, press the 'print screen' button on your keyboard. go to mspaint, paste and save as .jpg.

for hyperlinks, the http button makes it easy so you dont have to type in the code manually. more on the vb code

I speak very simple blonde language, out of necessity. :D
