What is wrong with WINMX
 

There seems to be lots of files and none of them are downloadable. Can anyone help? :shf:

winmx has been ''under attack'' for months, according to heavy users i interviewed back in march (last story here). it was always a leecher's paradise, but now even the poor leechers have thier work cut out for them. in what's been variously described as the p2p equivlent of a dos attack it seems the big uploaders are the evul minions of the riaa flooding winmx with zombie files that never come to life.

Thanks for that info - it is certainly getting hard to find good tracks

but not impossible. ambitious file-sharers can always stay a few steps ahead of soulless corporate drones. here's a primer on avoiding fakes at winmx.

I am still getting on with life despite the stroke, I can't get around much, it gives me a lot of time to download music but the authorities in Britain are beginning to get their shameful act togrther :TC: , prosecuting children through their parents, they are easy target like motorists. Muggers burglars and rapists are all free to get on with REAL crime.

I haven't gotten any newbies just yet...Amber-Lynn, my oldest will be the big 6 tomorrow...promised her a few goodies. Nikki Taur turns 4 on July 9th.

I think I'll wait just a bit on a newbie, Ambi's vet bills are costly...not complaining, but I like the have the cash available when a fuzzie needs care :AF: too many ferrets wouldn't allow me to do that.

I've read where the BPI is getting sticky with dl'ing tunes....be careful, don't want you being one of em :AF:
