SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC FOUND DEAD IN HIS CELL AT THE DETENTION UNIT

Today, Saturday 11 March 2006, Slobodan Milosevic was found lifeless on his bed in his cell at the United Nations Detention Unit in Scheveningen.

The guard immediately alerted the Detention Unit Officer in command and the Medical Officer. The latter confirmed that Slobodan Milosevic was dead.

The Dutch Police and a Dutch coroner were called in and started an enquiry. A full autopsy and a toxicological examination have been ordered. Pursuant to his authority under the Tribunal’s Statute and Rules of Detention, the Tribunal President, Judge Fausto Pocar, has ordered a full inquiry.

Slobodan Milosevic’s family has been informed.

Cant say i'm happy about this but I won't burn a candle for his passing away. He should have been sentenced accordingly to his war crimes, thrown in a max security prison.

I can't feel sad about this news either

Think how many more people he would have killed if allowed?

What do the muslims say.... god is good.

Now for the wifey to bite the big one.

Maybe we can start sending Gitmo detainees to the Hague, thin the herd so to speak.

The family of the former Serbian President Slobodan Mil0sevic have asked that he be buried in the traditional Serbian way, in accordance with their wishes the body will therefore be thrown in an unmarked mass grave.
