Don't laugh please

Can someone give me simple step by steps on how to get songs that I have on CD's into "My Music" so I can share them? I have Windows ME. (yes I have a burner) :)

lol... it's called drag and drop via windows explorer! or you could always just copy and paste.

download exact audio copy (free/cardware) from below

http://www.exactaudiocopy.de

use it to grab tracks off your cds and save them as wav on your hard drive

then grab this to encode those wavs in mp3 format ;)

192kbits (constant) should provide a fair tradeoff between file size and sound quality. for low quality mp3s, i suggest you use 128kbits and for optimal sound quality use 256kbits
