However, Dotcom Scoop's RIAA source suggests that the case is weak and that it will only succeed if FastTrack caves in.
Here's hoping they don't.

How about Edonkey?

greedy_lars 29-11-01 08:03 PM

you think, maybe if they put a box in front of the judge, then say now download kpax(hey havent seen that anyway), now download some kiddy porn(hey that really pisses me off), now download the latest bubble gum cd(hey bet my daughter would dig this), it might occur to him its maybe breaking some laws? its doomed, dload while the dloading is good. I was looking for a good p2p client when i found this one...

damn napho, looks good for harry potter anyway?

hey im still shell shocked from napsters collapse, how will i cope? i might have to acually look at, listen to, and install all the chit ive downloaded that i never botherer with.

As I understand it, only KaZaA will be affected by this court descision. Morpheus users should be safe.

not sure it'll have any effect outside of holland. the courts here have ruled that french courts can't restrict internet operators in the us for instance.

Here's thinking they will.

"Interestingly, the memo notes FastTrack's apparent willingness to reach an agreement to avoid legal confrontation. If accurate, that appraisal will have led the RIAA to believe FastTrack will settle out of court."

morpheus is just about done with it's own, non-fasttrack based client, the imminent release of which should keep things nice and complicated for a while.

meanwhile, here's another link.
