No offence to Morpheus fans but...

Imesh is alot faster. I've had speeds of over 200k/sec. Usually get at least 75k with 3 downloads. Morph doesn't rate compared to that. As far as spyware is concerned you can say no to all but 1 and that can be negated by substituting a dummy file. Imesh is hard on your system though. :o

houses of the holy

the song remains the same

and

I love iMesh. It was only hard on my system when I had ME. Since I've upgraded to XP, iMesh runs smooth as a baby's butt. And with iMesh, I can get a movie in 2 hours, not 20 like it took on Morph. :tu:

I guess it just depends.............

on what a person wants to download.

Perhaps one program is better for dling vids and warez rather than just your run-of-the-mill audio files.

I dunno - I'm a crippled 56k user and services like Bearshare, etc., don't work well for me.

I'm not into movies as much as audio files and have no problem with morph. Winmx P2P works good but I often find myself in the "remotely queued" quicksand pit-of-no-return and have a bit better success using the OpenNap server list.

I have a wrapped Blubster and a new spyfree Audiogalaxy on my desktop waiting their turns. I liked Audiogalaxy only because I can find lots of oldhead tunes but when the spyware bloated - AG was kicked to the curb poste haste.

Different programs for different needs?

You're exactly right goldenrod. Programs like Edonkey and Direct Connect are great for programs while AG is excellent for music, especially rare stuff. Imesh is so fast with cable that by the time you finish watching 1 movie you've dl'ed another. Morpheus is good for music and movies but not great for programs.

btw this program is an enhanced AudioGalaxy without the spyware

Thanx - the one I have is still in it's compressed folder and is named: AGSatellite 6.08 and is 557KBs. This one is different, is it the enhancements, I noticed it's much bigger in size.

Can't wait to give it a try!!
