The Clever Dutch

They've come up with a program that lists most of the things in binary newsgroups. Update every so often and you'll see what's been posted recently. Click on what you're interested in and you'll see a description, links to other sites, and the parts listed. This certainly makes things easy if you've ever been confused by seeing something like FTD #131798 without any clue about what the file is.
I won't post a link because no one here is REALLY interested. ;)

Here's 2 days worth of music. It might not be as interesting as Waste politics but it's a hell of alot more productive. :p

After installing, the config box opens and you just click on Nieuw Account. Put in a name/pw and an email addy. Then put in the same name/pw in the config box. Then just click on Updaten and you'll get an update.

:) And tell us, Mr Genie, do the mp3s download directly from these links? My knowledge of Dutch is very limited, but you seem to have that facility (or a friendly interpreter!). And I guess this makes for a couple of people who are interested. Checking thru newsgroups via other avenues has not led me to much success so far, but there, my other name is Percy Vere!

I've never investigated all the nuances of this program. I doubt that you can download from within it though. It basically lists much of what's available and by clicking on the name of the file you get all the pertinent info. This is the kind of album you're usually interested in. :)
