Soulseek & Win 98
 

Was doing some research on Soulseek & found somewhere (can’t find it again) where someone made a comment about problem with Soulseek & Windows 98. Has anyone here either had or heard of such a problem. I know it’s lame but I’m happy with my Windows 98 & don’t want to go to 2000 yet if I don’t have to. Want to try Soulseek now that AG is gone. Have Kazaa Diet Lemon but that’s not enough.

try it and see smokey then let us know (works fine on win/me). it's a great program for dance tracks, acid jazz, ambient etc and getting broader all the time.

I've heard that a few ppl using 98 have had problems like the program shutting down their computer repeatedly or alot of blue screens but that just represents a few. Most don't have any problems although Soulseek does use alot of resources. Give it a shot.

Thanks Napho. Sounds like some of the problems I read about with Morpheus for those with older computers. I'll give it a shot since my computer is less than a year old. If I have problems, I'll let you know.
