WMVY- Island Streams
 

every summer i tune into this station either at the beach when i'm on the vineyard or from anyplace else via the 96k stream. i like the new england ocean vibe with the standby ferry bulletins and other island nuggets. this is one music station where they are really. into. music. when they're not playing it they're talking about it or off someplace cool recording it. lately they've done a nice thing by putting some of their recordings online. i save the asx then drop it into media player classic. click-to-launch works too.

think wolfgang's vault - but forty years later. ;)

I really love that pic, I was born in New England, and only got to go to North Hampton beach.
i want to load the station into my media player, but what is asx?

it's a container of stream addresses. if you click a "listen" gif, your standard player should launch the stream without issue, but for those users with special payers c&p'ing the asx file is often preferred. for the live radio mp3 stream click here.
