Weirdly I'm not like a die-hard Simple Minds fan--but New Gold Dream and Sparkle In The Rain still managed to be two of my favorite albums of all time. This song always makes me break furniture attempting dance moves I shouldn't oughta:

Simple Minds - Up On The Catwalk (live on The Tube)

I don't know if Alan Parsons Project is one of my favorite artists; I haven't heard enough of their stuff. And this video is not of them performing...but it is a cool video utilizing one of their songs:

The next-to-last picture gave me chills and tears....

Edgar Allan Poe Publishes "The Raven" (1845)
"The Raven," like Poe's other works, conveys the dreamlike and often macabre forces that pervaded the author's sensibility. Poe wrote the poem while his moribund wife was suffering from tuberculosis, and it became an instant sensation when it appeared in the Evening Mirror January 29, 1845. In the poem, the narrator, who is mourning the death of his love, Lenore, is mysteriously visited by a talking raven and asks the bird a series of questions.

In no particular order...

Good eye, sniper! Now I'll shoot... you run...

Who's in a bunker... who's in a bunker....

能夠給的我都給....你要挺起胸膛坦蕩蕩的活....

We used to leave the blue light on....

There's a bit of controversy about this one, can you spot why?

Placebo w/DB - Without You I'm Nothing

And here they are again, at Bowie's 50th birthday party, covering the mighty T Rex:

You might also enjoy this melodic track "I Wanna Love You tender" by the Finnish duo Danny & Armi. Pay attention to the modern visual language and the hot dance group in the background - the Finnish music video directors can challenge their American (and Latvian) colleagues anytime. :att:

Yes. She was titled Miss Finland in 1977 when she was 18, got drawn into show biz, enjoyed initially good success and sadly died already in 2002 in 44 years' age consumed by alcoholism. Nothing fails like success.

thanks napho  .... halfway through i had to look up the lyrics

and here they are :D

My body, My hand
My heaven, My land
My guardian angel is mine

You say…
My dreams, My head
My sex, My bed
And it's my Corona with lime

And then I say ..
Maybe we could divide it in two
Maybe my animals live in Your Zoo

You say..
My hate, My frown
My kingdom, My crown
My palace and court is mine

You say..
My lights, My show
My years to grow
The time that I spend is fine

But then I say ..
Maybe we could divide it in two
Maybe my animals live in Your Zoo
Maybe I'm in love with You….

But You say…
My coat, My hat
My bones, My fat
My zipper is shut by me

You say..
My Skin, My blood
My devil, My God
My freedom is what You see

But still I say
Maybe we could divide it in two
Maybe my animals live in Your Zoo
Maybe I'm in love with You….

My beginning, My end
My nuclear bomb to pretend…..

:tu:
