Russia starts selling oil in rubles
This might have big economical and political repercussions:
http://www.russiajournal.com/2006/06...nd-gold/print/ Any predictions? |
It won't have big economic or political repercussions.
Russia's domestic exchange is simply offering to trade futures contracts if people are interested. |
No major problems until it starts trading in Euros, and even with our "pre-emptive" war/s; eventually it will.
The perceived power of the USA resides mainly in the dollar. A thousand years from now, the survivers of the human race will study how we died and think, how utterly stupid. |
Survivors? Are you saying that we should switch to Euros in order to survive?

Sounds reasonable. I'll probably die of old age; completely unrelated to oil trading. |
It is better to keep your fingers away from the keyboard and be thought a fool than to type, submit, and remove all doubt.
The real reason we are in Iraq and want to be in Iran |
Ah, it seems you mised this thread. Sinner countered the Iranian petroeuro bourse conspiracy theory quite well in my opinion.
And if you actually think the US is gonna start a large scale military campaign in Iran like we did in Iraq, then you really havn't been paying attention at all, have you? |

Hi still have to reply to this thread and givin his, err, well, wits, i'm still waiting for an answer from him about this thread http://www.p2p-zone.com/underground/...ad.php?t=22229 Scroll down to post 6 and 7. He laughed his ass off trying to come up superior as to his knowledge of canadian politics when he was dead wrong. FFS, he can't make the difference between a provincial party and a federal one and he called me ignorant in his previous post? Anyway, Mazer, I suggest you watch a doco named "The Money Masters - Federal Reserve History" It's very enlightning and very informative. I side with RDixon on this one, the mighty US dollar ain't so mighty when you understand when it came from after the 1929 Crash. Before the crash, the dollar was backed up with gold and silver standard, when you had a dollar in your pocket, you had one and not a federal reserve note. It all comes down to this, Canada has legal tender, europe has legal tender, the US has federal reserve notes. No wonder Russia wants Rubles now for their oil, no wonder the Iranian exchange went Euro, Saddam went euro before being ousted. If you don't believe me just watch the doco, it's in 3 parts. found it on google video. Part 1 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...05921010099392 Part 2 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...72716915416357 Part 3 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...31178524208549 You can either stream them or download them, it's up to you. |
I'm stumped
What's with you wackos and your delusions that you have an understanding of the world that people with far higher intelligence and quality educations don't have?
And why can't you force yourselves to read the educational materials and watch the lectures from reputable colleges and universities and actually learn to understand things instead of parroting a fellow wackos stupid conspiricy bullshit? And don't you ever puzzle over why you're not much better off with your secret understanding of how things "really" work than others are? I just wonder. |
I'm stumped at your reply aswell
History comfirms that the only prez to attack the federal reserve and actually bring legal tender back was JFK. Google it up if you feel like it but it's a fact for what ever good it did him. This is not a conspiracy theory albed, it's a fact, JFK knew what the federal reserve was/is and wanted to put an end to it. Did you even consider downloading this doco? You sound to me like the intelligent type so why not keep an open mind on this one? Every dollar you have in your pocket is issued by the fed reserve as a note, not as legal tender, so when you have a dollar in your pocket, it's not yours, you already owe it back to the reserve, that is why they call it a note. |
I had to take a crap yesterday so I cranked the volume and played it long enough to hear the usual wacko bullshit.
Whether dollars are called "notes" or "legal tender" has nothing to do with their function. Wikipedias article seems pretty good and is no doubt moderated to keep the crackpots out so you probably wouldn't be interested. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Reserve Let me know when you've become wealthy with your superior insight into financial markets. I seem to recall that you couldn't even pay your bills a while ago. |
As for my income and how I make ends meet is none you your buisness, never was, never will be but i'll bet it made you feel good to type that down, no? Did it bring you pleasure? Did it made you feel superior today? did you grow an inch because of that bold statement?
And FFS, can't you even read from your own links?!? Taken from Wiki aswell, a link from your link. Quote:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Reserve_Note The value of a federal reserve note. Quote:
Lincoln and Kennedy knew that and they tried, one to established a currency that can be backed up by silver and gold, the other one, tried to bring it back. Quote:
JFK knew this, this is why he signed Executive Order 11,110. He loved his country and knew of the danger of the Fiat Currency. Quote:
