Help Please - Record Uploads, How?

I'm keen to record which files are the most popular uploads from my PC. I use Kazaa and WinMX. Kazaa has a limited log, MinMx better but I'd like to keep the results cumulatively not lose them once i disconnect. Any Ideas?

Before you 'pirates' start complaining, I'm not a network adminstrator or some guy out to check up on others, just an interest to share and record !!

Thanks !

Sean

what info do you want in the stats?
who downloaded what or just the amount of Mb that the uploaders are getting?

i like the stats you get in emule..i dont look often but they are kind of handy..

I'm reading that he wants to keep track of which individual files are uploaded. I know DC has that option, but not sure about Kazaa or WinMx. :dunno:

hi sean,

welcome to nu.

you can do it manually by employing a screen capture program that saves active text, like snagit for instance. make sure you set your p2p program to not clear upload information then just grab a screener every so often. once you have the text you can paste it into notepad or whatever database program you plan to use. it requires a few steps but it'll work until you get something better.

in no time at all you'll have a pretty good idea who your fans are and what's hot and what's not. for instance i've heard that certain image files are always very popular. 'course, that's just what they tell me... ;)

In WinMX I just look at the queue, which shows what 100 people want from me.

Suprising how things change when one porn movie is added to the shared folder.
