I also used to love the Warner Bros. "Loss Leaders" sampler LPs advertised on their record sleeves.

I remember one called "Heavy Metal"...it had Black Sabbath (Paranoid), Allman Brothers, and a bunch of others. it also had "Starship Trooper" on it from Yes....which is how i discovered Yes :tu:
