Having your own web server

Cintel Orion Web Server is for you if you want to host your own Website but you can't find an ISP that doesn't bog you down with banner adverts or maximum file size limitations, or you're working on your website and need to test it quickly, you need Cintel Orion. Orion is Cintel's first Web Server product and is part of the CENSE server package. Yes, definitely Apache...

...or, if you only need the simplest of web servers, AnalogX Simple Server: WWW.

I found some good ftp sites with free apache software
 

Too many versions of that software too choice..hehehe

I actually ran AnalogX's server for a while - if you need nothing but a simple page online - it's perfect.

As for Lowdown's comments about Apache - yes there are a few versions, but that's because the beta's are online as well as the builds for almost every OS under the sun.
