anyway, this quote is from Gabriel, in an article on the same story, coming out in favor of selling single songs as opposed to whole albums.
what makes his attitude interesting is that it's 180 degrees out from bands like Metallica, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Linkin Park who, to date, refuse to sell their songs online, on the grounds that breaking up the cd into singles compromises their art:RE:
