Give credit (or blame?) to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: David Lee Roth is back with Van Halen and planning to tour.

The mercurial Roth, who officially left Van Halen on April Fool's Day in 1985, will reunite with his old band for a tour that kicks off in North Carolina in early May, according to sources in the concert industry.

If it happens, we would all hope, like with The Police, that they don't kill each other. Yes, too bad abount no M.A.

Nice recollections, Norm.

Heck you could replace M.A. with a cardboard cutout and noone would notice.

There's no chance Dave will put on the kind of show he used to though. Maybe a couple of female bodybuilders could hold him up and slide him around a little.

I saw VanHalen opening for Black Sabbath in Oakland in 1978. It was VanHalen's first tour, and Black Sabbath's last with Ozzy. After being fired by BS, Ozzie then teamed up with Randy Rhodes, who did everything Eddie VanHalen could do... and better.

A lot of people have been hoping for a VH, DLR reunion. But yeah, the band is still not complete. Michael Anthony has been hanging out with Sammy Hagar more over the past few years.

I saw Halen a couple of years ago with Sammy. Now I get the chance to see them with Dave. I'm pretty stoked. When I saw them, with Sammy, Wolfgang got on stage and played Eruption with his dad. He was pretty good. Too bad M.A. isn't playing this time, but Wolfgang will do just fine. :)

Tour's on hold while Eddie goes through rehab. When will these rock and roll punks learn responsibility. They're old enough to be grandfathers ffs.
