Not a way to win hearts and minds

No, it's definately not a way to win hearts and minds. It is also not typical of the behavior of U.S. soldiers.
As the article states, those who did this face execution like any other murderer under the same conditions. If that is what they did, they deserve it. |
Anonymous soldiers raping an anonymous woman and killing her anonymous family in an anonymous town on an unspecified date, all revealed by an anonymous official. Who could doubt a story like that?
Especially with a rational motive to confess like that: Quote:

For the first time, just saw on CNN the word girl instead of woman in a reference to the victim.
When the story first broke the word was woman. Then when reports started getting out that she was only 15, they changed it to young woman. Rummy the dummy was on the ball on this one: got that boy a fast tracked honorable discharge from a WAR ZONE for a "personality disorder" and back to the states before the press got the story. |
