That thread brings up a lot of good points, the most important one being "don't do it solo!"

napho must be congratulated for being a very persistent & patient p2p'er with way too much time, bandwidth & hdd space on his hands! I don't know how you do it, but :AP: to you! :AF:

I wholeheartedly agree. Napho is a great and fearless field tester of everything that even smells of p2p and he has kept us all well informed for a long time. Cheers to Dawn's platonic acqaintance! :AP:

that was actually pretty good and interesting napho

i like how he was able to access the 'gift' project with one

of his earlier versions...something those knuckle or 'canuckleheads' over there haven't been able to figure out

sucessfully among all the eglomania trips they been a takin

and their inability to speak in the common vernacular (non tech/geek speak) so that

non nerds could understand them...and sometimes i think they

(the 'Gift' :RE: Project) use those fancy big words to hide behind

the fact they don't really understand what they are doing and

in using large nonsensical words that 'say nothing' but sound

high lofty they are able to convince a few people that they

supposedly 'know something' whereas its more like

they know nothing and cannot explain their 'project' in simpler

terms so that kazanites can 'get it' (understand it) see how
i am doing now (only a little bit patronizingly...sorry for that)

anyways ben folds five is great and the Qube shows

remarkable potential and promise...

the bottom line?

learn from Quazaa...first make a spyware-free bannerless client

get 250,000 + users than after their hooked start adding

'spyware' such as the now no longer classified 'spyware' cydoor into his product

and then go from there.

Cydoor is the number one source of ad-revenues for p2p (from

my brilliant partially belligerant 'guessing')

:W: hello, SA_Dave
