Two Dimensional Political Spectrum Quiz
1 Attachment(s)
If you're like me you understand how inadequate the Left-Right political spectrum is, and you've seen how the political parties in America are excluding more and more citizens with their extremism. This bulletin board was originally formed to join P2P enthusiasts together, and despite this one commonality we're all over the place when it comes to politics and it is way too easy to stereotype each member as either a rightie or a leftie in order to ignore or dismiss their reasoning. Some of us are more guilty than others on that score.
The political spectrum is not a straight line. For example a man might be considered a moderate if he supports the death penalty as well as abortion rights while an other man might also be considered a moderate if he opposes the death penalty and abortion rights. Ideally the political spectrum would actually be defined in n-dimensional space, but it's easier just to define it using two broadly-defined dimensions: economic liberty and personal liberty. That's basically what this test does, and not surprisingly, most people fit somewhere between the four extremes. Here's where I fall on the chart: Attachment 12587 Take the quiz and see how you compare. Post your results. Read this article to see how the rest of the country scored (six years ago). |

More of that stupid "corporate welfare" bullshit. I've never seen any line in any government budget handing out money to a corporation. But a lie repeated often enough... Quote:

And I thought I was cynical. Damn albed. hehe.
There are alot of these types of quizes out there. This one was very basic. Not enough questions to form a really good idea of where ones political compass might point. http://www.politicalcompass.org/questionnaire There is another one you could try. I wouldn't put myself as far left as this chart point out, but oh well. For the sake of some fun. :) |

"Not taking" money from corporations isn't "giving" it to them potsie. Reconnect with reality someday and you'll understand simple concepts like this.

but if we use your standard, free health care or free food to the poor would not be welfare either. sounds like you've got kind of a closet-liberal thing going:BL: |

these assholes should be taxed at maximum rates with no concessions ever ffs even then it wouldn't stop them killing every small buisiness on the planet sometime in the next 20 years if they could, why they should get help from our governments to do this is beyond me. http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/198202/diamond read and be amazed at how our governments let corporations psychologically manipulate the public and happily let it go on for many years |
