Very True Story

:b: Tech News: I am sure that most of you know that the RIIA is turning up the heat in the kitchen. During one of the hearing cases the defendant stood up turned and addressed everyone who was there and he said, “then can come in our home and take what doesn’t belong to them, The took my computer and all my own purchased CD’s now they want to charge me $5,000,00 per-song that they found on my hard drives. We are talking about a lot of money here what can I do”? Then this man turned to the judge and said, ok I am guilty I was wrong give me my fine so I can get on with my life. After I leave here I have to stop in and see bankruptcy lawyer. :shk:

Strange... sounds like this guy's thrown in the towel and expected people to feel sorry for him - to let him go on a sympathy vote. I thought you were gonna say:
During one of the hearing cases the defendant stood up turned and addressed everyone who was there and he said, "Every person in this room has taped a CD or music off the radio. Every person here copied music and given it, swapped it with their friends. Everybody here has shown a film to a group of friends..."

Sadly, it'll take one of the defendants to make a martyr of themselves, before the contradictions of these cases are examined.
