Have tried some of the newer ones but always go back to this :tu:

I've stuck with 2.9 as well!! I've tried later versions, I never much cared for em either Wenchie :AP:

2.91 How do I stop the nag window?

Uncheck "Check for new versions of Winamp at startup." (options | prefernces)

Thanks Jack. Got confused cause of that second options. ---options>preferences>setup....

I've been using 5.01, the last version that Frankel took any part in. It's more bloated than 2.9x versions but I like using it's video player, the full screen transport controls and hotkeys are just better than any other video player out there. But if 2.9 handled video as gracefully as 5x did then I would probably still be using it.
