Certainly. If you're a bass player there is Trace Elliot and I also consider Peavey to be a better buy than Marshall.

Biggest is not necassarily best.

well... I reckon Trace Elliot for Bass, and Marshall for guitar... Line 6 make some smart guitar amps too.
