Donating to settlers
 

Am I the only one that thinks it's wrong to donate $$ to people who settle with the music industry?

I mean, I can understand donating to someone that's FIGHTING the RIAA legally, but why in the world would I donate money to someone that's helping prove the RIAA's point?

The RIAA is totally fine with you donating money to people who settle. As long as people settle! They are admitting 'wrongdoing', and nothing is being done to try to change the laws surronding their threat of prosectution.

Here's my contribution to people who settle and help continue the RIAA's crusade: DON'T SETTLE. And if you do, don't come begging to me just because you're not a fighter.

I'm in agreement with you on this. I don't know this to be completely true, but they seem to be going after softer targets. I think most of us here would fight it, and I think I would be willing to support hardcore users; I don't know if I could do the same for someone who rolls over.

i dont own much apart from my computer...so i got nothing to settle with...
