found this on irc, exactly what is lossless music?? flac files?
apparently there is a huge underground network on dc++ where peopl trade lossless albums!? anyone ever use dc++?? anyways heres the link for the network.

Yes, lossless music refers to audio compressed with lossless compression formats. FLAC and APE (=Monkey's Audio) are probably the most popular formats in filesharing circles today. Assuming there are no technical errors in the ripping process, the playback quality is precisely the same as from the original audio CD.
