Bearshare evolution?

The makers are planning to bring out two versions of BS: a free one with ads and a payable one without them. Nothing really new, but the following is (I think): acoording to one of the moderators, replacing the cd clint.dll file with a dummy would be useless as BS recreates the cd clint file every time it is started.

If it were true, that would be a problem, wouldn't it?

Maybe a CleanBearshare will be in the making somewhere. Similar to what was done with Limewire.

Yeah, who cares about bearshare? Let them go pay, I don't care. I never use it.

Not really. Object code can be modified fairly easily.
