In case you missed Bjork on SNL, Earth Intruders & Wanderlust, from Volta. Yes, she is still completely out of her little viking mind. I like both songs but Earth Intruders is more accessible I think. Wanderlust kind of represents that ultrabjorkiness which has definitely begun to annoy a lot of people, as unrelenting genius often does.

Where the hell have I been? I just discovered my new favorite band (for the moment) last night as I happened to catch THE RACONTEURS on Austin City Limits on PBS. That performance is awesome, don't miss it if it pops up.

Always been a Jack White fan, but I really had no idea. The band had this glorious 70s Golden Age vibe (I said this to my roommate who replied "just because it's good, timeless music") and I swear I thought at times they were something like Crazy Horse and Utopia fused together and reincarnated.

I was on stage with him once playing mouth harp at Cold Springs Tavern on San Marcos pass in CA. He was staying at a friend's house and trying to sober up and would drop in every once in a while to play and get tuned up.

He got drunk and I was worse.

I could have died driving down that hill home. As it was, I creased the side of my better half's car to the tune of $2k.

Totally worth it.
