It's been awhile since I used eDonkey... last time I used it was for downloading a WinXP ISO :BL:

Are the network problems from a few weeks/months ago fixed now? Will it connect to the network with the server list that comes with the installer?

ocbMaurice (of Maurices Server List fame) has an Autoupdater for eDonkey.

I use the server.met autoupdater 3 myself, and have a fresh list of servers everytime I start the Donkey... :tu:
