About halfway down the item, we find that they haven't been "convicted" of copyright infringement. They have also been ordered to "filter" so that copyright works can't be traded. Anyone remember Napster doing exactly the same thing? |

I got in at the tail end of Napster and remember how proud people were when they were able to download by misspelling the artist's name or song. :) |
gloating over meaningless legal trifles is how they measure success in the parallel universe where record executives live. meanwhile billions of songs upload monthly in the real world their savvy customers inhabit - and not a penny goes to support the whole rotten media company edifice. so while i grind my teeth at these obnoxious rulings, there is true justice at the end of the day. ;)
