Bearshare 4.0 is out if anyone cares
 

It's been lost in the shuffle with all the P2Ps out now and besides the Gnutella network isn't that good.

after "advising" vinnie (if anyone really can...) to start charging a few bucks for his baby and dumping the 3rd party crap i'm glad he's finally offering the option. what i'm wondering is how many of those $20.00 uploads he's actually making. still, with supernodes and multi-source downloading the bear's come a long way in a couple of years even if it had to get dragged along for most of it. he might not’ve always been first but he sure was tenacious (and loud) - he's still around and that's more than i can say about a lot of his contemporaries. i wish him luck. :)
