Help!!!
I've been crawling around in the basement and in the attic and I think I've finally got all my audio wired into the computer. I can play music from the components thru the computer, but, I need two thing, or maybe just one would work.
1) a capture program 2) something to remove the hiss and noise from vinyl and cassettes. Anyone help?:con: |
capture program? do you mean for streams? if yes, that's easy. streamripper 1.2.4
the best de hisser in the world is cedar. but i don't know where to get a consumer version. i don't know a thing about consumer versions actually, or if they even work. |
you can use audiograbber to record audio streams/signals
if its a video stream on the web then obviously if possible just save it to your hard disk now for removing clicks/pops, hiss, noise, and restoring vinyl - i would go with sonic foundry noise reduction. its a directx plugin set and you can only use it from sound forge or other sonic foundry products.. the settings can get tricky, read the help files for best results :D ya need the demo?! |
