An interesting poll indeed. It proves Bush's global unpopularity, and also shows the unreliability of these kinds of polls. Bush and Kerry are nearly even in the USA but this poll shows Kerry winning with 74% of the vote. The poll only samples affluent, english speaking web surfers world wide so I'm not really surprised. But I am a little intrigued by the number of Islamic nations that are statistically even, Afghanistan and Iraq most of all.
  • Pakistan John Kerry by 75% 12 % to 87 %
  • Afghanistan Statistically even. 46 % to 53 %
  • Iran, Islamic Republic Of John Kerry by 31% 34 % to 65 %
  • Iraq Statistically even. 47 % to 52 %
Considering that neither Afghans nor Iraqis had free (unrestricted) access to the internet a couple of years ago it's interesting to see that they differ from their neighbors so greatly. What this actually means I don't know; statistics never lie but interpretations of them are always biased.
